Slieve Donard
Built over 18 years between 1904 and 1922, the 22 mile Mourne Wall encloses 9000 acres of land. The weather became a bit better on the way down, so you can see Eddie's smile now! To join this madness, Eddie traveled all the way from Dungloe by hitching and taking buses. I met him in Dungloe accidently twice. He loved to climb Errigal but couldn't take day off. However he made it to Slieve Donald. Quiet, witty and genuine fellow. Great to share pints.
