Croagh Patrick
On the way down from the peak of Croagh Patrick, under a very beautiful blue sky, a man approched to me from the track below. He said, pointing at my bike, "This is Rocket Boy ONE, I guess. I have been following you!!" Then he opened his backpack and offered me a can of draft Guinness.... This was Chris Walsh (right end), who had read my book, Against the Wind, and had followed me on The Gerry Ryan Show.
He suffers from
MS. He was inspired by my story and took a day off hoping to meet me on the track of Croagh Patrick, risking his health. Very lovely, shining and inspiring man. It was a holy experience on the holy mountain to meet such a genuine fellow.
